Designer Tammy used the bird cages and made them into gift or keep sake containers.  You can alter them to make them into favor holders, or gift card holders.

Chalk Board Stand Designed By Bona Rivera-Tran

Check out this Chalk Board Stand Bona created.  She used the Album-Locker Die Cut that she designed for Accucut.  How fun to be able to write messages to family members, To Do Lists, and Menu's for the family.  She incorporated our trims through out her design and the trims she used compliments the BBP Vintage Marketplace Paper line.

Spring Release 2012

Hi everyone and Happy Spring!  I am a few weeks late on this video for our Spring Release, but better late than never!  I just got done with a friends wedding and am currently moving, so a lot of BIG things going on with me.

I wanted to share with you a video of all the new items that I will be carrying at ThePieceByPiece.Etsy.Com.  I found this French Manufacturer and am in love with their trims.  I've only seen their items sold in San Francisco's Britex Fabric Store and no where else, so when I found them, I was jumping for joy!  I absolutely love them and am so happy to be able to now offer it at our shop!

Bird Cage Mini Album By Juliana

Can you imagine a Bird who would live in this amazing Bird Cage?  I know I would if I was a bird!  I don't know if I could afford it though! Teacup Favors

It's that time again... yes, my daughter has turned 8 years old this year and this time she asked for a Tea Party.   So Tea Party it is...   I made this teacup favor using the Sizzix Die 3D Teacup Die.  It turned out better than I expected.  I wet embossed the rim part of the teacup and the outline of the saucer in gold.   I filled it with nail polish, nail file, and chapstick.  It was a big hit at the Tea Party.  Enjoy!

Random and Pleasant

It's been quite a while where I actually blogged about anything, but.... here I am again.  It's a peaceful day here in  my Ozzy Wonderland.  The kids a not fighting and I am enjoying my morning coffee at 11am. Hehehe.  I cropped with my wonderful scrappy friends last night from 7pm to 3am!  That's a first for me, 3 am?   WHAT?   I learned and shared some amazing techniques!  I will show you in a later blog or video of my work once it's absolutely finished.  I thought I'd share this with you.  

I saw this photo at  this amazing artist blog, The Kathryn Wheel.  It may be hard to make out what it says on the bottom right corner, but it says from the thief, " Got me home ok  thanks."  Hilarious.  I love to laugh and this is just way too funny.  Enjoy your last weekend of August, because before you know it.... it's Christmas!

August Challenge - Make a Trim-endous Layout

We are going old school and taking you back to paper your crafting roots with a good old fashioned scrap booking layout challenge for the month of August.

Here's what we'd like you to do: Create a scrapbook layout of any size, 12x12, 6x6, 8.5x11, you choose.  On your layout, you must use lots of  lace, trim, fabric or ribbon to make your layout standout. The challenge details are listed below, please read them in detail.

1. Who can play?: The challenge is open to you, your friends and your mother! Seriously, this challenge is open to everyone!

Transform a Dress Form - The Piece By Piece July Challenge

We know that dress forms are all the rage in our crafting community, so we thought they would make the perfect theme for our July Challenge.

Here's what we'd like you to do: Take a dress form, any dress form and alter the heck out of it. A little about Tiffany:  I am a SAHM of a 4 1/2 year old boy and a 1 month old girl. I am very blessed to live in San Diego and have a wonderful husband that supports my addiction! :) Beside from crafting I love to go to the beach, park and just be with my family. anything we do we have a blast together. 

I have been scrpbooking/papercrafting for almost 3 years. I love to be inspired and to insipre. I enjoy cardmaking the most since you can create a one of a kind handmade card just for the recipient. It is just so special. I also love making 12x12 layouts. I feel you can create something that can tell a hundred different stories for the one memory.

Ms. Yolanda Pasillas Designing for TPBP

The Bean  is so wonderful and gracious to let me have her design for TPBP! I don't know how else to describe this lady other than inspirational!  Thank you Yolanda for allowing me to work with you and share in your spectacular journey!  

The Bean in her own words:  I've been in love with paper and ink for 17 years now! The happiness it brings me never subsides. I love trying new techniques and mediums in my art and I am always looking for new ways to teach and inspire. Besides having 7 beautiful and healthy children to encourage me to create I've made quite a few artsy friends online that share their talents freely. I hope to do the same.

Tammy in her own words:
 "I've been a creative being since the time macrame was popular. it's been a while.  Since that time I've expanded my breadth and depth of creative play and find great joy in paper crafting, art journaling, silver smithing, jewelry making, knitting and sewing, to name a few.  When I leave the creative playground I enjoy the lovely outdoors of California with a bike ride, neighborhood walk or a silent gaze at the coast line from a sandy beach. My family and friends are the heart of my world and I can never spend too much time with them."  

"Determined" Father's Day Layout

Here is a layout I did of my Father.  I titled this layout "Determined," because he has been battling cancer for about 2 years now and he was born a fighter and he isn't going to stop now.  I am so proud of him.  I watch him every day through his struggle and I am his cheerleader on the sidelines.  Please make sure to take a moment to read the quote by Maya Angelou who is such an inspiration to me and her words helps to give me strength from time to time.

"I can be changed by what happens to me,

I refuse to be reduced by it."

I used DCWV paper line and lots of gear chipboard that I painted and distressed.  My new favorite is the Tim Holtz Tissue Tape which I randomly stuck throughout the layout as well as the metal gears from Oriental Trading Company and 7 Gypsies.
