Thoughts, a Wedding, and a All Occasion...

The opening of a new store here in Roseville has been put on hold.  My kids are requesting that I take some time off, so that I can spend more time with them.  Who can refuse that?  Brooklyn (my daughter) said that when I had the store, I was always busy and never had time for them.  I didn't know that she felt that way.  I will take what she said and embrace this time with them.  I will still be working part time with my online store, as I enjoy that part of my life.  I love creating :)

Here are a couple Cards I would like to share.  I hope you like them just as much as I did.

I made this wedding card using the ever so beautiful paper from Graphi 45.
I used pieces that I've had for years (yes... years) and made this wedding card for a very special couple.

Below is another card I created using a Digital image.  I love how it turned out.  I didn't want to do too much on this card because the image itself was fabulous.  It's an "All Occasion" card because I like the idea of not always using a sentiment on the front, so you always have greeting cards handy for any occasion.

Back to my thoughts...another plus from taking some time off from owning a Brick and Mortar store is that I get to create more...which is a good thing :)
Hugs and have a blessed day!

Fun with Cards

These days, it's rare to have no plans, especially when you've got 2 kids, and a new puppy.  However,
I've been able to kit for my classes, write out instructions, and make 2 cards for a couple parties I'll be attending this weekend.  I'm screaming Success!!

Here are some cards I was able to create and wanted to share with you.

This one is for my niece who is turning 2.  I've been saving that dress for a special card and here it is! Finally I was able to use it!! YAY!!!

It is always challenging for me when I make cards for Guys.  My cousin just graduated from College and I knew I had to come up with something masculine and a little formal.  I like the way this card turned out.  I still couldn't resist using bling though...  Oh well... it's masculine right?

Anywho... It's fun blogging again.   :)
