Joy Banner made by Designer Ivett Carrillo and DT Video Update

Happy Hump Day!  I hope your week has been great so far.  This is the last week of September, and after that, it's officially the Holiday Season in my house.  Halloween is around the corner and with a blink of an eye, it's Thanksgiving time.
I like Ivett's way of thinking... begin the decorations for the Holidays early so we can enjoy our handmade creations longer.  Check out what she created using some fabrics from a swatch book.
It's so festive and I love her use of laces and trims through out the banner.

Also... wanted to include this video I made regarding some updates and information for those that may be interested in the Design Team Call.  Remember that the last day to turn in your projects will be this Friday.

Newest Design Team Member Miranda Edney

Hi Everyone!  I wanted to formally introduce the newest member to our Design Team, Ms Miranda Edney.  Some of you know her as MsLiberty on Youtube.  She also has a Blog at MslibertyCreations.blogspot.com.
I had asked her to join the team back in September before I made the Design Team Call.  She will making beautiful projects for the shop beginning October.  I can not wait to see how she incorporates our trims and embellishments into her one of kind projects.
Here is a little something about this talented young lady, Ms. Miranda:
My name is Miranda, and I started scrapbooking about 2
years ago. It started with wanting to make an album to show
my honey how much it he meant to me, and it blossomed from there! I have spent a lot of time searching for my style and what I like the best. That tends to be more on the grunge side of things, but I never like to stay put in one area of art , I am always pushing myself out of my boundaries! I strive to think outside of the box , and use techniques that allow me to express myself! My fave products are flowers , metal, laces, gesso, sprays , masks, and texture pastes! I hope you enjoy my artwork and that I can give someone some inspiration! That is the most important thing to me.

Here is a photo of one of her Projects that she shared with us:
Stunning isn't it?  Well, if I could read books like this everyday, I really wouldn't put it down!!

Thank you so much Miranda for joining the Team! Super Excited to see what you'll create next! xoxo

Halloween Mini Album Created By Roxanne Furlong

Hi Everyone!  Don't think that we forgot that Halloween is just next month!  We have a special treat for everyone who is looking for inspiration regarding this fun and not so scary Holiday.  Check out Roxyfur's Halloween Mini Album in the shape of a pumpkin, she made this using Graphic 45's Happy Hauntings Paper Collection.  My favorite part is how she altered and Dressform and made it into a witch.

Some Design Team Call Q&A's and a Beautiful Project from the Lovely Juliana

The response from the Design Team Call has been amazing and thank you so much for all that have responded and are interested in Designing for the Shop.  I wanted to note a few things that some people have asked and maybe it can help answer some of your own questions regarding the Design Team Call.

Question 1:  Do you have to use products from The Piece By Piece when you submit your project?
Answer 1: No, you don't have to use TPBP products.  You can use from your own stash as long as they are similiar with the products that we sell at the Shop.

Question 2:  Do you have to have a Blog?
Answer 2:  No, you don't.  Any other websites that we may be able to see your work is fine (Ning, Flickr, Instagram, Pinterest, Etc.)

Question 3:  Can I make Accessories or Jewelry?
Answer 3:  Absolutely!

Hope this answers all the questions that you may have, but I'm sure there will be more along the way, so stay tuned.

Now, I wanted to share with you a project from one of my fellow designers, Miss Juliana.  She made this beautiful Recipe Album to match her new Kitchen.  I can't wait to see how her new Kitchen will look like, but I already know, there won't be a shortage of Shabby Chic.

Items Used from out Shop:
