Mixed Media Canvas Made By Leanne Bishop

Happy Tuesday everyone!  Thanksgiving is just 2 more days away and I am so behind with all my projects!  Yikes... Story of my life right?  I have 3 potlucks to prepare for and don't get me wrong... I'm not complaining... in fact, we are so blessed to have our families and friends all around us that's it's easy for us to visit each get together all in one day, although I do tend to gain about 5 pounds in just that one day.  Hehehe

Enough about my weight!  Ha!  I do want to share this amazing Mixed Media Project that Leanne created.  She was inspired by Anna Dabrowska (Finnabair).  Just by checking out some of Anna's work and Leanne's you can see the similarities, but you can also see the difference in both the Artists techniques.  When I first saw Leanne's canvas I was so envious because I want my project to look like that when I'm done.  Hehehe

Just by looking at the photo, you would have to look at all the details to really appreciate all the details that Leanne put into this.

For more details check out Leanne's blog by clicking here.

Hi everyone!  Thank you for visiting us on this lovely day!!  I have been so inspired and so blessed with so much talent here at TPBP!  So inspiring that I haven't finished one project because I start one and then I don't finish because I begin to watch another video which leads me to begin a whole different project without finishing anything!  Hehehe.
But wait... I do want to take a break from it all and introduce our first Guest Designer, Harumy Castillo!  She was suppose to be my Guest Designer for October, but I fell so behind that I had to postpone a whole entire month!!
You have to check out this video!!  Watch how she used all the goodies inside and to find the hidden Mini Album.  She used G45's Paper Collection, The Bird Song.  It's just so gorgeous and stunning!!  I love how she used our teacup and saucers and placed them inside the Cabinet.

A Little Crafty Bio:
I have a CRAZY passion for crafting!!! I've always been an artsy fartsy type of gal. I took art in school and loved singing/music etc. I first started getting into crafting when my hubby and I were engaged to be married. I made handmade invitations, flower bouquets, centerpieces etc. I then got into scrapbooking when we became pregnant with our daughter. I started making 12x12 layouts for her baby book. Of course...I found a ton of inspiration on YouTube...and then got hooked!!! My styles have changed so much over the past few years =D. I enjoy doing a variety of crafting such as: scrapbook layouts, cards, mini albums, mixed media, altered projects even jewelry making. I love all styles...especially the vintage/grunge shabby chic.

Check out her Altered Chest Leanne made with some of our embellishments.  Paper she used are from the Prima's Romance Novel.  So many different details and lots of techniques were used to make this piece.
