TPBP Weekly Round-Up...

Dear Friends,

I've scoured my closet and found just the right 1920's outfit for  Charlie Chaplin Days in Niles this weekend. There will be a lot going on, but one of the things I love the most about this weekend is seeing people in their 1920's attire.  So, if you come by the shop dressed for the occasion, I'll have a crafty gift for you.  Follow this link to see all of the activities planned for this family event.

Upcomin Store Closure
Summer's just around the corner and my family insists that I join them for our annual camping trip.  This means that I will close the doors to our Niles store on Fri, Sat & Sun, August 2, 3 & 4.

Also, for your convenience, we are now listing  changes to our store hours in the left column of the newsletter.

Upcoming Classes
Our roster of classes and teachers continues to grow.  This week, I'm happy to announce that Suzy West will teach a class on July 20!  Suzy is a local teacher who is also known internationally for her energetic and fun filled classes. Keep an eye out for more details about Suzy's class here in our newsletter and on our blog class schedule page.
I'm so fortunate to have a cast of amazing teachers here at the store.  These classes have been designed for TPBP and you can always check our blog for the line-up of classes.
Here's what we have coming up over the next couple of weeks:
  1. Sat, June 1, Flip and Fold Fanciful  Cards with Tammy Ozuna (We still have open spots)

TPBP Weekly Round-Up

Dear Friends,

big thanks to everyone who participated in last Sunday's get well campaign for Diana (quilt store owner and my neighbor at the Niles). The Wizard of Oz box filled with get well wishes brought sentimental tears of joy to her eyes and a great deal of gratitude to her heart - exactly what the doctor prescribed for healing.

I also want to thank everyone who joined Julie Nutting for her classes last Saturday.  Your participation made her classes a great success.  You also did a great job at encouraging Julie to come back to teach! Once her new collection of girl stamps from Prima hit the market we will book a teaching date for Julie at TPBP.

Now that we've wrapped up some old news, I have a ton of exciting NEW news to share with you.  Hold on for a long ride here:

Update to our Store Hours
Now that the dust has settled and we've been open for a couple of months, I have a better idea of the stores hours that work best for my customers.  Because of this I'm making a change to our Sunday hours.  On Sundays we will now be open 11am to 5pm.

In addition, in honor of Father's Day, we will be closed on Sunday June 16.  I hope you enjoy this day with your family,
