TPBP Weekly Round-Up...

Dear Friends,

I've scoured my closet and found just the right 1920's outfit for  Charlie Chaplin Days in Niles this weekend. There will be a lot going on, but one of the things I love the most about this weekend is seeing people in their 1920's attire.  So, if you come by the shop dressed for the occasion, I'll have a crafty gift for you.  Follow this link to see all of the activities planned for this family event.

Upcomin Store Closure
Summer's just around the corner and my family insists that I join them for our annual camping trip.  This means that I will close the doors to our Niles store on Fri, Sat & Sun, August 2, 3 & 4.

Also, for your convenience, we are now listing  changes to our store hours in the left column of the newsletter.

Upcoming Classes
Our roster of classes and teachers continues to grow.  This week, I'm happy to announce that Suzy West will teach a class on July 20!  Suzy is a local teacher who is also known internationally for her energetic and fun filled classes. Keep an eye out for more details about Suzy's class here in our newsletter and on our blog class schedule page.
I'm so fortunate to have a cast of amazing teachers here at the store.  These classes have been designed for TPBP and you can always check our blog for the line-up of classes.
Here's what we have coming up over the next couple of weeks:
  1. Sat, June 1, Flip and Fold Fanciful  Cards with Tammy Ozuna (We still have open spots)
  2. Sun, June 9, Fairy Slipper Class with Terri Kolte
  3. Sun, June 9, The Bird Collection with Terri Kolte
  4. Sat, June 29, Shabby Chic Configuration  Box with Veronica Legget
I look forward to seeing you in the shop and hope you enjoy this week's Creative Inspiration from our Design Team.

Upcoming changes to our store hours...

We will be closed on the following dates:
  • Sun, June 16 for Father's Day
  • Fri, Sat & Sun, August 2, 3, 4 for family vacation
We have made a permanenet change to our Sunday hours.  You will now find us open on Sunday
from 11am to 5pm.

These changes to our store hours does not effect our online Etsy store where we are open 24x7.

We offer a number of services to help make life easy for our customers:
  • Private get togethers
  • If we don't have what you need in the store, we will place pre-order on your behalf, shipping paid by TPBP
  • We have hundreds of dies and will cut to order what you need
  •  Gift certificates are available
  • We sell on consignment.  If you are interested in selling, call the store for details.

Let's Swap!

TPBP will host an ongoing  Artist Trading Card (ATC) Swap for our in-store shoppers.  ATCs are a fun way to share your art with other artists while also creating a collection of works from other artists.
Here's how the on-going swap will work:
  1.  When you visit the store, let me know that you'd like to swap ATCs and we will, it's that simple!
  2. We will limit the swap to once a month per person
If you are wondering what the heck an ATC is, follow this link for a definition, instructions and a video.
