Happy Halloween from All of US!!

Are you one of those parents that wake up early just to make sure that your kids are ready for a happy and frightful day on October 31st?  Well, in my household we treat this day like a holiday.  My husband's takes the day off, and we celebrate with our kids by going to their Halloween Parade at school, giving out treats to all their classmates.  Then, we have an early dinner and out the door we go, visiting our neighbors for the annual trick or treating experience.

Of course, the day doesn't start without some inspiration. We've got wonderful projects to share with you today.  One from a new member in our Design Team and another you've been inspired by many times before.

Please welcome the beautiful, Joanne Cheng, one of our newest members.

A little Bio:
I have always been a creative person, whether it'd be through crafting or taking care of my kids. I've found my passion in crafting, (which has turned into more than a hobby) early in my husband and I's relationship. As part of his "monthsarry" gift, he took me to a scrapbook store, gave me a box full of our momentos and pictures together and purchased everything I needed to get started in scrapbooking. That was almost 7 years ago and there were only pinking and other decorative type of scissors. I think now, he probably regrets that "gift" to me. As time gone by, I've created many different projects with different styles in crafting. I've grown to love crafting more now that I have two kids (4 year old girl and 3 month old boy) to inspire me with. From layouts, cards and mini albums to altering boxes, trays, canvasses and such, I say that my experiences in this world of crafting/creating has expanded in many ways.

Check out this beautiful Printer's Tray that Joanne altered.  She used Graphic 45's Designer Papers and beautiful pieces through out the project.  Definitely would make a pretty Halloween display.

Halloween Themed Shadow Box By Van Ha

Happy Monday!  Thank you for coming to visit us today! I wanted to introduce another new member in our design team. Please join me in welcoming Ms. Van Ha.

A little Crafty Bio about Ms. Van:

I am 28 years old but I feel younger, except when I get back pain due to my jobs.  I currently hold 2 jobs.  I am a home health nurse and I also work at my LSS!  I really believe in supporting our military to the fullest because I do have a sister in the military.  I am very close to both my brother and sister, I am the eldest of the 3.  I currently live with my boyfriend in our 2BR condo and I need a craft space and storage BAD!!  I store my craft supplies in plastic bags and they are basically in a corner in the guest room.  I'm still thinking about doing a scrap room parody video of it.  I've been crafting since Feb. 2011.  It all started with a layout for Valentine's Day and it snow balled out of control from then on.  I got obsessed and overwhelmed with all the youtube videos I was watching but I feel like I've figured out and developed a style that I love.  I absolutely love vintage/antique anything!! From church hats to spice tins!!  I call it treasure but my honey calls it trash LOL.

Halloween Themed Shadow Box

Have you ever wondered how a Witch get's ready for Halloween night?  Check out this Shadow Box created by Van, where it shows off a Good Witch getting ready in her room.  You really have to check out all the details on this beautiful scene.  Lots of things too ponder!  It even has a Spider Egg Sack in there!!

Halloween Greeting Card By Tiffany Morgan

Halloween is 2 weeks away!  Can you believe it?  I am super excited... I mean, my kids are super excited to enjoy the festivities and going to our neighbors houses door to door.  Sometimes, I think to myself.... where did all these kids come from?  They surely don't play outside like the used to when I was growing up.
Enough babbling...
Look at this Beautiful NON-Scary Greeting card that Tiffany made.  She used the Martha Stewart's newest Halloween Paper Collection.  This Greeting Card is a part of a bigger project that Tiffany is working on.  A Halloween Mini Album!  I can't wait to see it.  She gives a sneak peek in her video and I totally wished I could have moved her camera to see the entire Album!

Beautiful "Time for Tea," banner made by Designer Janet Coulter

Happy Columbus Day everyone!  Now that all the DT and Guest DT excitement has simmered a bit, I wanted to share with you this beautiful project from Mrs. Janet Coulter.
My family and I go to this local place called, "Tyme for Tea," at the Niles District in Fremont, Ca.  We go almost every month or sometimes twice a month. We enjoy all the Antique Shops and love to have brunch at the Establishment.
I felt like Janet read my mind when I decided to carry these Tea Pot and Tea Cup Die Cuts at the shop.  The colors and paper line from Prima Marketing's, Tea Time Collection went together perfectly with the laces and trims that Janet used in this project.  It is so beautiful and I think it would go perfectly with my favorite place for tea at high noon.

Now, what's your favorite cup of Tea?

Happy October everyone!  I made this project for my friend Tiffany.  Some of you may know her as Mammatiffy on Youtube.  It was her Birthday a couple months ago and it did take me a while to mail this to her.  Better late than never right?  I have such amazing and wonderful talented people in my Design Team that sometimes I can't help, but feel intimidated when I send them something handmade from me.
I used one of Bona's sewing machine die cut.  If you are interested in purchasing this die cut, please send her a message on her blog at http://www.keeponscrappin.blogspot.com/p/keep-on-scrappin-creations.html.
