TPBP Weekly Round-Up

Dear Friends,

Last week marked another first for TPBP.  We hosted our first public crop!  We had a full house and we had a wonderful time cropping into late hours of the evening.  Thanks to all of the croppers who came out to get crafty.  It sure was my pleasure to host each of you at TPBP.  We will be announcing our next crop date very soon.

New Classes
Another first over the weekend was Terri Kolte's inaugural class.  The students had a great time making their oh so precious slippers designed by Terri and it was unanimous, Terri must come back to teach at TPBP.
And since I'm here to make my customers happy, Terri will be back with a new banner class every month. HerPatriotic Banner class is scheduled for June 22 and you won't want to miss it.  Check out this beauty:

If you know me, or if you've been in the shop, you know that I'm Graphic 45's biggest fan.  So, as you might imagine, I was very excited to receive Graphic 45's newest collections, Steampunk Spells and Bohemian Bazaar, in the shop.  Your really want to scoop these up before I hord them all!

I'm going to CHA
And, speaking of new products, I'll be attending the Craft and Hobby Association trade show next month.  While I'm there I'll be shopping for the hotest new products on the market so that I may bring them to TPBP for you.  Let me know what interests you so I can keep my eyes open for the things that make you do the happy dance.
New Phone Number
Speaking of new, we have a new phone number at the store, 510 894-2488.  If you have us programmed into your phone, please update your records.

I look forward to seeing you in the shop and hope you enjoy this week's Creative Inspiration from our Design Team.

Creative Inspiration
Each week my amazing design team uses The Piece by Piece products to create projects with the hope of providing creative inspiration to our customers.  I hope you take away a little inspiration today...

Tussie Mussie  by Char Gibson

Beautiful laces from TPBP, Lyric collection of paper from Prima and mixed-media techniques make for a lovely result. Char's tussie mussie and altered balsa box are both adorable beauties. As fun as they look like they were to make, we are sure they will be fun to put to use.

See Char's video & blog for images of the balsa boxx and more details for both projects:   Video   Blog

Patchwork Banner by Gina Ortiz
Gina created a beautiful patchwork of fabric, paper, resin pieces, lace, ribbon and more! You will fall in "love" and feel the "bliss" evoked in this lovely banner.

Gina presents the details of her project here:  Video

  • Sun, June 16 for Father's Day
  • Fri, Sat & Sun, August 2, 3, 4 for family vacation

We offer a number of services to help make life easy for our customers:

  • Private get togethers
  • If we don't have what you need in the store, we will place pre-order on your behalf, shipping paid by TPBP
  • We have hundreds of dies and will cut to order what you need
  •  Gift certificates are available
  • We sell on consignment.  If you are interested in selling, call the store for details.

Let's Swap!

TPBP will host an ongoing  Artist Trading Card (ATC) Swap for our in-store shoppers.  ATCs are a fun way to share your art with other artists while also creating a collection of works from other artists.
Here's how the on-going swap will work:
  1.  When you visit the store, let me know that you'd like to swap ATCs and we will, it's that simple!
  2. We will limit the swap to once a month per person
If you are wondering what the heck an ATC is, follow this link for a definition, instructions and a video.
